Darjeeling

Darjeeling is a town in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is the headquarters
of Darjeeling district, in the Shiwalik Hills on the lower range of the
Himalaya, at an average elevation of 2,134 m (6,982 ft). The name "Darjeeling"
is a combination of the Tibetan words Dorje ("thunderbolt") and
ling ("place"), translating to "The land of the thunderbolt."
During the British Raj in India, Darjeeling's temperate climate led to its
development as a hill station (hill town) for British residents to escape
the heat of the plains during the summers.
Gangtok

Gangtok is the capital and largest town of the Indian state of Sikkim. It
is situated in the lower Himalayas, located at 27.2° N 88.4° E.
Known for its clean surroundings and temperate climate, this hill station
of about fifty thousand people is the centre of Sikkim's tourist industry.

Patna is the capital of the Indian state of bihar, and one of the oldest
continuously inhabited places in the world. Megasthenes (350 BCE-290 BCE),
in his book Indica has mentioned that the city of Palibothra (Pataliputra,
modern day Patna) was situated on the confluence of the rivers Ganges and
Arennovoas (Sonabhadra - Hiranyawah) and was 9 miles long and 1.75 miles
wide.
Puri India

Puri is a city in the east Indian state of Orissa. The city is famous for
its Jagannath temple. The temple was built in the late eleventh century.
Puri is one of the oldest cities in the eastern part of the country. It
is situated on the coast of Bay of Bengal and is a popular beach resort.
